A Blue Wedding in New Mexico

Today, we are sharing a darling wedding to honor Jacquelyn and Peter!

This charming wedding took place in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. Their stunning religious ceremony was later followed by a relaxing outdoor reception at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya. Located in the Sandia Mountains, this Resort & Spa captures the real beauty of the Southwest.

We love the amazing pops of blue throughout their entire wedding theme; and those creamy white floral bouquets are so stunning, they almost take our breath away! Jacquelyn and Peter picked fun wedding colors, and we are smitten with their attention to detail- from Jacquelyn’s jewelry to their blue and gold wedding cake. This blue wedding works beautifully for any season!

Classic Silver and Black Wedding Ideas

Silver is anything but second-place in this wedding inspiration board. A silver and black color palette brings black-tie elegance outdoors. Programs and menus showcase a bokeh background and an elegant calligraphy font while the reception tables boasts silver metallic accents. Even the bridesmaid dresses sparkle in dazzling sequins.

Silver: The universal color that brings a classy look wherever it goes.

Here’s how you can style your wedding with a classic silver and black theme:

Silver is the new neutral—serving as a backdrop to white plates and beautiful orchids. It’s an easy way to add elegance to your glassware, china and table décor.

Signature Cocktail:
We usually see Martinis made with green olives, but here, black olives are used instead. Find fun ways to incorporate your colors, even if it means swapping out the usual with something unique.

Silver foil always makes for a grand display, so why not use it for your wedding cake? Not just for looks—it’s edible too!

Use silver and black napkins to show off your style and match the theme of your invites, programs and menus. Personalize them with your names to make them truly yours.

Bridesmaid Dress:
The bride will always be the star of the show, but silver-sequin dresses will let your bridesmaids shine, too. It’s modern, unique and always fun to wear. These fancy colors are great for an evening wedding, anytime of the year! If you’re hosting a winter wedding, you could even incorporate these pretty, classic colors during the morning or afternoon.

Make your wedding day timeless with this classic silver and black wedding theme. Have fun with your wedding colors! Pick a theme that will be true to the two of you.
