Blue and Gold Winter Wedding Shoot

Today, we are beaming about this wonderfully artistic wedding inspiration! If you and your partner are hoping to have some bold elements on your wedding day, this artsy blue and gold styled shoot is sure to impress. It’s unique and modern, and gives a refreshing spin on some classic wedding elements. While this inspiration is great for any time of the year, we especially love this theme for a winter wedding.

An art gallery may seem like an odd place to host your wedding, but it’s a great option for those of you wanting something a little less traditional. The marbled wedding invitations are sleek and refined, while the white orchids exude a certain softness within the reception decor. The blue and gold wedding colors are rich and welcoming; and it is quite possible that we have never seen such a beautiful cake before. It’s a little piece of golden heaven! Did we mention there’s also a photo booth? Remember to have fun on your wedding day! It will be over before you know it.

Classy White Wedding Inspiration for Winter

We love weddings that add a splash of seasonal flare. While many think that winter weddings have to incorporate shades of blue, we are here to tell you that something neutral and white, is equally as stunning!

This wedding inspiration, shot by the talented Merari, and designed by Whimsy Weddings, is so chic and timeless. The simplicity of it all somehow makes it even more romantic. The neutral colors and clean lines, make this an ideal wedding theme for this refined season. However, this color palette is truly perfect for any time of the year!

We are smitten with the bride’s creamy lace wedding dress, brilliant white floral bouquets, and metallic gold accent pieces along the tablescape. Even the white three-tiered wedding cake is sprinkled with tiny gold flecks, which effortlessly adds a gorgeous ombre effect to this sweet treat. To top it all off, the venue’s amazing floor to ceiling windows add in the perfect amount of sunlight into the reception venue. This crisp and airy wedding venue is a must-have if you live near Brooklyn. If you are yearning for a formal, white wedding with a few splashes of color throughout, this may just be the ultimate inspiration.

Romantic Candle Lit Wedding

Today, this elegant wedding is sweeping us off our feet! Anthony and Carmin are young lovebirds who met during high school!

They recently had their special day at the Cork Factory, in Lancaster Pennsylvania. This venue is lavish, yet intimate. We are having a hard time taking our eyes off its 19th-century brick walls and that stunning vaulted, wood ceiling. It’s the ultimate blend of rustic and modern. Cork Factory was made for a candle lit wedding, and perfect for those of you dreaming of tieing the knot during the fall or winter months.

Their big day was filled with gorgeous flowers ranging from deep purples, to soft blue hues. Carmin’s wedding dress was made with delicate, small diamonds embroidered along her sweetheart neckline.  The groomsmen wore stylish grey tuxedos, to complement the rest of the elegant wedding decor. And to top it all off, every wedding guest dressed to the nines. Carmin and Anthony’s formal black-tie wedding is wonderfully romantic!

Greenery Ideas for a Green Wedding Theme

When it comes to floral arrangements, flowers get all the “Oohs and Ahhs,” but here’s a trend that’ll give blooms a run for their money: arrangements with greenery.

Using greenery, like olive branches, ivies, ferns, boxwood shrubs, eucalyptus, and lily grass, not only offers brides a budget-friendly alternative to flowers, but also creates a refreshing look for the wedding day. This is especially beautiful during the Winter and Spring months. This green wedding theme is affordable, and always looks chic.

Greenery is no longer bound to one kind of arrangement (i.e. garland), but looks gorgeous in bouquets, centerpieces, and even within the wedding day decor. With so many different hues, from forest green to sage, this beautiful color is at your fingertips.

Whether it’s a rustic, garden or an elegant outdoor wedding, we love everything green on this wedding invitation and think it suits any wedding style.

Here’s how greenery can be used for an elegant outdoor wedding:

Bridesmaid Dresses:
Nature comes in many hues of green, so why can’t your bridesmaid dresses? Let your venue’s environment inspire your wedding theme. Forest, olive, moss and sage greens are up for grabs when it comes to choosing your bridesmaid dress colors.

There’s something special about an arrangement made with a variety of ivies, ferns and other green plants—so simple, yet elegant and effortless. Forget the traditional flower bouquet. Add contrasting greenery into your arrangements: two-tone leaves, dark forest ferns, and light sage greens to make your bouquets pop.

Escort Card Wall:
Go bold and create an oversized “art piece” like this quilted garden wall. It makes the best first impression when guests enter the reception. The strung ribbon and escort cards on lush green vines and white roses are a big and daring statement that will be remembered.

Elevate a garden theme with details like this lime green garland that beautifully embraces the chairs. The greenery and big bloom centerpieces with long stemmed candles set the table with romance.

Whether it be a simple outdoor or an elegant themed wedding, greenery is a perfect accent to any wedding day. Be bold and unique while keeping your wedding true to the two of you.

Almost 50 Shades of Grey Wedding Ideas

There’s nothing dull or gloomy about a grey palette. Chic and completely sophisticated, the ombre trend is new again. Paired with neutral black and grey hues, a few shiny gold accents really top off this look. The result- a minimalist look we can all get excited about. If you’re looking for a grey wedding theme, here is your needed inspiration! From the ceremony to your wedding reception, here are some easy ideas for your big day.

Featured Wedding Invitation: Crisp Petals. See our full Wedding Invitation collection here.

A contemporary take on the floral trend is when a feminine motif meets a more masculine color palette. Monochromatic hues make this botanical invitation the perfect backdrop for gold foil stamping. On the back of card, you can choose to carry over the floral design or opt for a simple black or white. Foil is available in four colors: Gold, silver, rose gold and copper.

Extra inspiration for a silver and grey wedding:

Walk the aisle as if it were a runway. This bride’s art-decor inspired dress is truly fashion-show worthy. It has just the right elements (such as a flowing skirt) to say bridal but unique details that make it couture chic. The groom’s suit is understated but not lacking with its own unique details such as a piped lapel and standout bow-tie.

A dramatic look is achieved through contrasting hues. White anemone flowers are the perfect example. Paired with Brunia Silver blooms, it’s the perfect flower bouquet for a winter white wedding. Dusty Miller leaves soften the look.

Ombre Cake
This three-tiered ombre wedding cake gets added interest with a soft ruffle detail. Minimal colors and sculptural artistry will command all the guests’ attention.

Gold-rimmed clear dinner plates add a pop of metallic detail against a silver tablecloth. Details are kept minimal with a light grey napkin topped with a white menu.

Mercury Glass Votives
Mercury votives create a radiant atmosphere for dinner guests and ties in beautifully with the silver, grey color palette. Throw them on the tables to add a romantic glow.

Perfect for any season of the year, this elegant color palette will WOW any wedding guest!
