Have you seen the trailer for The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds? I’m not usually a big fan of romantic comedies, but this one looks pretty funny. Plus, with our big engagement story contest going on, I can’t seem to get proposals off my mind!

What do you think? Do you predict that The Proposal will beat out Bride Wars as the top wedding movie of 2009?

Last week, Sylvia at Beau Coup created a list of the top wedding movies.  The list include some favorites such as Father of the Bride, My Best Friend’s Wedding and Wedding Crashers.  I wonder why Steel Magnolias wasn’t on this list?  Yes, it wasn’t only about a wedding, but that was a big part of it.
