Destination Wedding Dresses
Thursday, May 21st, 2009Finding the perfect dress for your big day can be a daunting task. While some brides find “the one” immediately, others try on dozens of gowns before they find the dress that makes them swoon. This challenge can be especially tough for a destination bride. If you are seeking the perfect destination wedding dress, check out some of my favorite finds:

Inspiration Board: Ruffles
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Every morning, I come in to work, sip my coffee, and my coworker and I pine away at the designer clothing for sale on sites like Rue La La and Gilt Groupe (I’m probably going to get in trouble with her for spreading the word about these sites–the best!). For the past couple of months, I’ve noticed a pattern–every single dress, skirt or top that I look at has some sort of ruffle incorporated in to it. Of course, this shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise to me. One of the top trends featured on the runway during Bridal Fashion Week was ruffles. The luxurious layers and curves that ruffles make can be gorgeous if worn correctly. Check out this inspiration board in honor of the ruffle!
