Last Saturday afternoon, I decided to walk the mere four blocks that it takes to get to some of the best gelato in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was a warm California night, so I didn’t think to grab a sweater—let alone an umbrella.

Naturally, it started pouring down rain in a freakish, fleeting storm that lasted just long enough to leave me soaked from head to toe. Luckily, I managed to keep the rain out of my Coconut Almond Fudge gelato, but it left me thinking about how you can never really count on the weather to do what you expect it to do.

If rain on your wedding day is good luck, then I consider extra good luck that you can rent fabulous umbrellas as an extra precaution. Plus, these designs are so cute, they would make the perfect accessories come rain or shine!

Chilly fall rainstorms have definitely made their way to the Wedding Paper Divas offices! All of this dark and stormy weather evokes a feeling of dreamy romance, but rainstorms don’t exactly provide the best conditions for a wedding.
