Rustic Pink Outdoor Farm Wedding in South Carolina

Today, we are elated to be sharing this classic southern-style wedding! Brooke and Steven were married on a stunning 50-acre family farm out in South Carolina. Their sweet ceremony took place alongside a serene lake, and was then accompanied by some hilarious wedding photos of the bride and groom. This rustic farm wedding is too much fun! Did we mention they even have a horse and buggy?

Steven and Brooke wanted a fun and casual atmosphere for their big day. They made sure to have some delicious home-cooked BBQ at their reception, as well as some rustic decor pieces. Brooke was most inspired by blush and gold colors, which are perfect for the summertime. Vibrant pink peonies were seen in every bouquet, and paired with whimsical bridesmaid dresses. The dance floor was a big hit that night and everyone danced to an array of great tunes, from Forever Young to Uptown Funk! These two lovebirds will be headed to Central America for their amazing honeymoon.

Blue and White Outdoor Wedding in South Carolina

Today, we are beaming with delight over this charming, rustic wedding! From the iconic Spanish Moss that grows on these timeless trees, the old wooden venue, and stunning twinkly lights strung up during the evening, we are smitten with the details Michelle and Peter picked for their big day.

These two first met, and fell in love, in dreamy Charleston. However, their sweet engagement didn’t take place in the states. During Easter Sunday while they were in England visiting Peter’s family, he took Michelle to a fun zoo in London. After nervously making laps around the park, Michelle finally asked him what he was doing? In order not to ruin his big surprise, he quickly dropped to one knee, and asked if she’d be his wife!

Peter and Michelle’s wedding day happened at Magnolia Plantation! The beautiful array of white flower bouquets, rustic blue and white reception decorations, and fun fire pit for roasting their sweet treats, all helped make this day a memorable event.

Timeless Outdoor Wedding in South Carolina

Today, we are so excited to be sharing this ultra chic outdoor wedding with you all. Ali and Ryan were together for 9 years before Ryan proposed! These lovebirds were married in a traditional Catholic church, and then headed over to a rustic Plantation for their reception party.

From their Celtic Folk-Rock songs, little black dog, and rustic white naked cake, we are enamored with all of their fun wedding picks. The neutral colors make this wedding theme work for any season! Hundreds of white and peach-colored roses were used throughout their big day in South Carolina, which helped create a warm, intimate atmosphere for all of their guests. We love their fun twists on a traditional wedding theme.

Southern Yellow Wedding with a Rustic Theme

Today, we’re loving this vibrant yellow wedding theme! Blake and Mac held their fun, rustic wedding at the River Road and Jasmine House, near Lake Murray in South Carolina. There isn’t anything more adorable than a rustic southern wedding. The sweet details and playful charm made this summer wedding extra special.

The ceremony area has an elegant iron gazebo at the front, and a permanent doorway at the end of the aisle, making it a unique entrance for the bride and groom. This garden wedding is so serene and quaint. Blake and Mac even chose to write their favorite bible verse above the door so it would be included in their wedding memories. Rustic wedding invitations help tie-in this cohesive theme, and can be customized to fit your special day!

Fun engagement pictures in South Carolina

Today, we are excited to share this delightful real engagement! Jessica and Kevin dated for almost two years, before Kevin popped the big question. He dropped down to one knee on Christmas Eve! These two lovebirds are getting married in the Spring of 2016, in South Carolina. We love the second outfit Jessica and Kevin put on during the end of their session. It’s important to have fun with your engagement photos!

From the Bride:
Kevin proposed to me on Christmas Eve 2014.  We were at his mother’s house, just sitting around talking and waiting for the kids to open one present. Out of nowhere, Kevin was at my feet, asking the ultimate question- Will you marry me? I burst into tears, not really knowing what had just happened! I of course said YES, and we’ve now set a wedding date for April 30, 2016 at Wedgefield Plantation in Georgetown, SC.

I wanted to share some our beautiful engagement pictures captured by our amazing photographer, Alisha Richards from Eye Shadow Photography. We decided to take our engagement photos at the same location we’re getting married. I have this amazing “then and now” vision, that I hope we can pull off.
