Beautiful Wedding Venues in Oklahoma-Dominion House

This week’s spotlight on love is shining ever so brightly on Katie and Grant’s precious union at the Dominion House in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Wrapping up traditional yet classy and chic all in one, this big day truly takes the cake. We absolutely love the tone that the brick plantation mansion sets for these “I, Do’s.” The background, along with the light blue and pretty pink pastel hues elevate this venue to picturesque charm. Wedding venues in Oklahoma have never looked so breathtaking!

From the bride…

Grant and I married almost one year from when we got engaged, our wedding was held a plantation mansion outside of Oklahoma City. We couldn’t of have a better or more special day, oddly enough we didn’t have one thing go wrong! The special details for our wedding if I had choose one of the many would be the blessing of having all of our family make it to the wedding, most importantly all of our living grandparent’s. We were very lucky to of had wonderful weather for being in Oklahoma in June and great guests that could attend to make our beginning feel especially celebrated.

Featured Wedding Invitation: Splendid Succulent. See our full Wedding Invitation Collection here.

Beautiful hand-illustrated succulents bloom against a natural kraft backdrop. Names and details pop in elegant calligraphy-style fonts. The back of card is just as beautiful with a fully illustrated succulent design. A color palette of green and lavender is perfect for an outdoor wedding.

Succulents come in a variety of colors—from light green to deep purples. Mix them together and play with sizes big and small to create an artistic centerpiece. A rustic crate serves as the perfect vase to pull them all into one unified look. We love the pastel colors certain succulents come in. This lavender succulent really shines in this wedding inspiration board!

Mix sweet succulents into a neutral bouquet of peonies or roses. It’s a great way to incorporate the trend and make your wedding feel natural and organic. Succulents are also great in a bouquet because they add a lot of substance, making your bouquet feel lush. Sprinkle in some lavender sprigs for a green and purple color palette.

Lilac Gray bridesmaid dresses are a great way to introduce color into your wedding theme in an understated way. Don’t feel the need to go matchy-matchy. You can choose from a range of hues to suit every bridesmaid. Lavender bouquets are a fresh twist on tradition.

The gift that keeps on giving. Mini succulents make a great wedding favor because it’s something guests can keep forever long after the champagne has been popped and dancing shoes have been taken off. Wrap them in natural paper for an organic look.

Romantic and soft, this lavender color palette paired with sweet succulents is perfect for any rustic, outdoor affair.
