Today, we are so tickled to be sharing this vineyard wedding with you all! Their vibrant yellow theme is perfect for a summer wedding. If you love being outdoors, this is an ideal venue to soak in some sunshine and fresh air.
Ryan and Amber were lucky enough to have this winery entirely to themselves on their wedding day! From their fun chalkboard wedding invitations, burlap banner, and blooming sunflower bouquets, we adore the rustic details they incorporated. We especially love Amber’s airy, white wedding dress. The elegant lace train is stunning!
If you live in the Bay Area, this spectacular venue is not too far of a drive to get to. Located in Hollister, this chic winery has expansive views of vineyards that seem to span the entire central coast.
Today, we’re sharing these intimate “I, Do’s” full of those vintage and rustic touches we all just adore. Everything about this big day has us smitten. From the custom dress with a scallop laced bottom, to the mason jars and vintage cakes stands, this rustic wedding is everything and more. Sarah and Kevin’s venue was so fitting for their romantic day and made the perfect backdrop for this unplugged wedding, you have to take a peek.
From the Photographer…
Sarah and Kevin both have a love for all things geeky, as you can see from the photos the couple decided on having R2D2 bride and groom figurines as their cake toppers lol! This reflects their personality perfectly! Sarah’s vision for the wedding was to feel like home. She spent a lot of time with her grandparents in Armstrong and Vernon B.C. exploring orchard fields, farms, and barns; so when they found Kildara Farm in Victoria B.C. it was the perfect place to have their intimate unplugged wedding.
The bride got ready with her two adorable sons. Her hair and makeup was done by ‘make up by Alexa Rae’. She wore a custom dress which featured a sweetheart front, and scalloped lace bottom. Sarah added a custom jacket and adorable lace up shoes with a floral print to her outfit. Her boys wore blue vests and matching pants which matched the groom’s attire.
Tucked behind an apple orchard the couple got married in a grassy clearing with family and sunshine surrounding them. Shortly after vows were exchanged the couple retreated with their guests to the barn for cocktails as dinner was being prepared. Guests were presented with mason jar glasses with personalized name tags. Chalkboard table numbers, Macarons displayed beautifully in tiny cake stands, and vintage romance novels stacked beside them added to this rustic and romantic setting. A lot of the decor the couple incorporated were items from around their home to give it that homey feel.
This wedding was small, intimate, and gorgeous and photographing it was a dream!
Happy Thursday all! We are just smitten by this rustic backyard wedding taking place at the Danada House in Wheaton, Illinois. Brent and Annamarie celebrated their big day with floral hues, lace and a gorgeous backyard venue. The soft natural colors go perfectly with each of the other special aspects of the couples’ big day. This outdoor wedding is ideal for springtime. We hope you enjoy this inspiration as much as we do.
From the Bride…
We wanted to bring the outside in! We decided on a garden party theme for that reason. Brent collected and organized all of our centerpieces, quite the task for 25 tables and 7-10 items per table. We visited garage sales and resale shops for months to collect everything. He also hand-made our table numbers. I didn’t want to choose wedding colors per se, so instead we just went with a floral theme, with blush to compliment my dress, blues to compliment the men’s suits, ivories, and lots of greenery. Around my bouquet was the lace cuff from my mother’s wedding dress, and my grandmother’s wedding day pearls. I also had my family’s dog come and visit for a few pictures! The day went perfectly and it was captured so beautifully by our photographer Ashley Dru!
Today, we are sharing an absolutely breathtaking styled shoot all the way from Colorado!
Nestled within the mountains, this historic venue houses a rustic log barn which is a stunning accompaniment to Wild Canyon Ranch. Within this venue, you’ll find panoramic views of golden fields, a quaint pond, and flourishing forests filled with an aromatic array of pine and aspen trees.
If you have your sights set on a barn wedding, this inspiration will surely make you run to your Pinterest boards. The bride’s long, flowing vintage veil is a perfect match for the intricate details within her wedding dress. Perfect for spring and summer, we also love the varying green hues, pops of pink, and creamy white colors within their wedding decorations. Both rustic and chic, are could stare at this styled shoot for hours.
