We had way too many out of town guests to provide them with welcome baskets, but if you can afford to, I think it’s a great way to introduce everyone to your city. They can range in price and creativity, so have fun with the process! One of my friends filled up paper bags with snacks, bottled water and postcards. Another friend gave candy specific to the city. One cute idea I found on Real Simple was done by a couple who gave out bags filled with an apple, bottle water, nuts and Wrigley’s gum with a note that read, “A body of water had separated them for decades, until they met in the Big Apple and realized they were nuts about each other.” They got married in Chicago, home of the Wrigley Field. Here are some other great ideas to help welcome guests in style!

1)Mint Tins with your names on them are personal and useful since it’ll keep their breath fresh on your wedding day.

2) Whether you welcome them with a bottle of wine or water, make it personal with custom labels from beau-coup.

3) Choose region specific gifts such as chocolate covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii, or how about caramel apples from New York? Check out other regional gift ideas from Martha Stewart Weddings.
