Vintage Desert Engagement Photos in Joshua Tree

We are incredibly thrilled to share with you these chic desert engagement photos. Burnt orange hues, cacti and an iconic VW bus are a few aspects that make this stylish session the beauty that it is.

It’s all about open spaces and a one-of-a-kind love with this couple, what a most perfect combo. The sun setting brings on a moody tone and offers the perfect lighting complementing each and every detail. Photographer’s Randy + Ashley share that this session was, “basically just the best time ever.” If you’re looking for some vintage desert chic engagement inspo then get ready to take notes because Natalie and Garrett’s session have those words written all over it.

From the Photographer…

When Natalie + Garrett asked us what we thought about their idea to rent a vintage VW bus for their engagement session our in Joshua Tree, we may or may not have jumped up and down like kid’s in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory with an American Express black card. But nothing – nothing – could have really prepared us for just how perfect the VW bus would be for their shoot until they showed up with it, in all its orange, vintage glory.

It really fit in with who they are – always up for adventure and camping; in fact, Garrett proposed to Natalie on an RV trip to Zion National Forest around Christmastime, so shooting their engagement session in another national park just totally fit them to a “T.”We spent the afternoon hiking around on the busiest weekend ever – not only was it the first week of most people’s spring break, but it also happened to be Easter weekend, so Joshua Tree was crowded as heck. But! Eventually we found the perfect spot, and we watched the sunset over the jumbo rocks, talking about their upcoming destination wedding in Palm Springs next winter (which we are super stoked about.)

Beautiful Engagement Pictures in Downtown Winter Park

Today, we are so smitten to be sharing these beautiful engagement pictures set in downtown Winter Park. This engagement session elevates a stroll through the park to new heights. Heights full of love and one amazing couple. There is something fresh and flirtatious about an outdoor engagement that we are perfectly impressed by.

Olivia and Josh flew out from North Carolina for their destination wedding in Longwood on beautiful Lake Brantley. A few days before their big day, they met in downtown Winter Park for a beautiful engagement session captured by the ever talented Corner House Photography. Who mentions that, “From the Rose Garden to the park, every adorable shot was a perfect reflection of my playful, silly, and incredibly amazing couple,” and we would absolutely have to agree.

If you just said yes, then these engagement pictures are just the inspiration you’ve been searching for. Remember that you’ll likely be using these photos to send out save the dates for your big day, to show off that ring and most importantly, to capture the love between you and your new fiancé. Pick a location that is meaningful to the two of you and get ready to show off a whole lot of love.

Romantic Boho Chic Yet Classic Wedding Day Ideas

Hey, Divas! There’s not a better way we can think of sailing into the Memorial Day weekend than with this boho chic yet classic wedding day hosted at The Omni Homestead Resort in the mountains of Virginia. This wedding inspiration is as every bit vintage as it is voguish. If you like the idea of keeping your wedding day simple yet full of beauty then this inspo is just for you.

From the Bride…

I had a boho-chic yet classic and elegant vision for our big day, and my parents, florist, bridesmaids, and resort staff made this the most beautiful reality. I also have known since I was a child that I was going to wear my mothers dress, which her mother wore as well. We are all “Rebeccas” and it was an incredibly special feeling to carry on the tradition. As John likes to say, he did his duty by proposing, and while he had a few specific things he envisioned, he mostly stepped back and wanted July 25, 2015 to be the wedding day of my dreams, which speaks to his truly kind and generous character.

How did the two of you meet?

John and I had a true twenty-first century courtship. It began from afar on twitter, Instagram and eventually Facebook through mutual friends – Like after Like after Favorite after reply. Eventually we got together with these mutual friends and the rest is pretty much history. I knew the second week we were together that I wanted to marry him, and although I think it took him a little longer my instincts sure were correct. When John proposed on the porch at his parents’ house, where it all began, I was shocked, elated, and immediately informed him that it was my dream to have our wedding at The Homestead.

From the Photographer…

Let me just start by saying Rebecca + John’s wedding was spectacular. It felt like a fairy tale. I think it would be hard to find a much more beautiful setting for such a special day than The Omni Homestead Resort in the mountains of Virginia. It was the end of July, but the weather was so perfect that it felt like early fall.

Rustic Church Wedding With DIY Style

We’ve been loving all the spring and summertime inspo lately (as you can tell,) but we can’t help ourselves with this rustic church wedding that reminds us why we fall head over heels for fall nuptials time and time again. These natural wedding colors can be found throughout the ceremony and reign supreme over this big day. The venue offers grand stained glass windows and stunning backdrop for “I,Dos.”

Your wedding day is supposed to be all about the two of you. We absolutely love that Chelsea and Clint added their personalities and unique love into special aspects of their wedding day. The fun wedding décor was almost all created by the bride herself with the help of family and friends. Plus, you have to check out these camouflage vests and ties the groom as well as his groomsmen sported. R&G Photography adds, “This DIY wedding was completely classy, romantic, and full of timeless Fall flair. Each detail was carefully crafted and their wedding was stunning!” We would have to agree.
