We are overjoyed to be showcasing this adorable, vintage wedding with you all.
Melissa and Mike held their December wedding at TheMansion At Valley Country Club, in Baltimore Maryland. This mansion was built in the 1800s, and has since been renovated when former NFL star, Art Donovan, purchased the property. This venue offers gorgeous fireplaces, elegant chandeliers, a grand Victorian staircase, stunning oil paintings, a sport’s bar, and even an old cocktail room. What more could newlyweds ask for?
This winter wedding has beautiful, deep purple hues paired with soft shades of grey. Their special day is traditional and oh so elegant. We are swooning over all of the twinkly lights and dangling chandeliers. But we especially love the fun modern twist, near the end of their wedding!
Gold isn’t your color? Try silver, rose gold or copper for your theme. We have these lovely metallic colors for foil accents to your wedding invitations. Today we’re featuring the gold foil that matches perfectly with a purple and gold wedding theme. Find this wedding theme in all of the autumn details, from the macaroons to the table decor—right down to the bow tie!
Ways to incorporate special details for a special wedding:
Decorate Dessert: Sweet treats look even better with a little extra styling. We love how these macaroons match the plum purple from the invites. The brushed metallic gold adds a thoughtful detail just like the gold foil on the invites—a detail any “sweet tooth” would love.
Paint Decor: Think of ways to add your colors and give your decor a Glam Fall look. Don’t be afraid to pull out the paint! Turn any item into a simple DIY project so it follows your vision. Who knew how good these succulent place card holders look in gold?
Cheers to Colors:
Toast with a refreshing drink that follows your wedding theme! This blackberry cocktail is a genius way to bring in the plum color, as well as an opportunity for a unique drink.
We hope we’ve inspired you to think of ways to make your wedding beyond the expected. We think your wedding should be just as unique as the two of you!
Today’s wedding stationery features the soft purple hue, Pantone African Violet. Purple tends to be one of the most popular wedding colors and not to mention the color represents happiness and healing. Choosing purple wedding invitations for your special day sets the mood for a romantic and charming affair.
