I came across this unique peacock wedding cake on San Francisco Style Unveiled, and it got me thinking about how gorgeous peacock feathers are and how lovely they can be as wedding inspiration.

Whether you use actual feathers as centerpieces or cake decor, or you simply borrow the bold colors of the peacock for your celebration, I love the idea of incorporating this elegant theme into your wedding.

Wedding Inspiration at the Antiques Fair

This weekend, one of my favorite Wedding Paper Divas staffers invited me to tag along as she hunted for a coffee table at the Alameda Antiques Fair—a monthly gathering of vendors of everything from antique toys to clothing, housewares, furniture and art.

I was amazed by how gorgeous, romantic and fun all of the vintage collections were (minus a few stuffed buffalo heads—eek!). If you have a few hours to spare, definitely check out your local antiques fair or flea market to find some stellar inspiration for your wedding attire and reception.

When I browse through wedding websites, I tend to be all over the place—I fall in love with a table setting here and a bouquet there, but my research tends to be a little scattered.

If you are like me and you love to dance from gorgeous photo to gorgeous photo, I suggest organizing your bookmarks into specific folders. Whenever you come across a stunning bridesmaid’s dress or a lovely engagement photo shoot, just drop them into their appropriate photos, et viola! Organizing your inspiration is a breeze.
