Today, we are swooning over this traditional wedding theme with pops of purple and gold. Laszlo & Joel’s vision for their wedding was all about being elegant and fabulous. These two were married in a stunning old church, and were walked down the aisle by their adorable niece and nephew.
Their fun reception party was held at Rutgers University, where a dining hall was transformed into a spectacular space with an incredible international feast, including traditional Hungarian fare, a whole roasted pig, and paella. We are especially loving the black and gold wedding invitations they picked for their big day. The splash of gold perfectly accompanies the purple accents throughout their luxurious wedding theme.
Today, we are swooning over this seriously stunning styled shoot! There are so many things we love about this piece- its romantic charm, the golden summer hues, and the vintage Rolls Royce automobile. If you are thinking about hosting a summer outdoor wedding, take notes on this epic traditional wedding inspiration.
There is something so nostalgic about Charleston; we are forever smitten with the Spanish moss that dangles along the old trees, and the ageless brick homes that live within its city limits. It’s a quaint little city that almost seems to take you back in time. Though any wedding theme looks stunning in South Carolina, we can’t help but fall head over heels for a soft color palette here, where the scenery does most of the talking. This formal wedding used our premium foil pressed wedding invitations to tie in their chic theme.

Today, we are loving this elegant traditional wedding! Hosted at a chic venue that has been around since the late 1800s, the refined decor is simply stunning. We love all of the special touches within this Korean Wedding theme. From the vibrant red florals to the sleek gold accents, the entire day was filled with so much joy.
We first met when we were both living in Seoul, in the neighborhood Junyoung grew up in. We went out for the first time a couple of days before my birthday! I had mentioned it in a passing several days beforehand, and he ending up bringing a birthday present to our date. I knew he was special right then and there!
We continued to date, until Junyoung proposed before I left to go back home to the States. He had actually planned to visit me about 4 months down the road, but I told him I’d need a ring on my finger before that happened. I didn’t think he’d be able to surprise me, but the proposal did actually catch me off guard; it happened on the day we took the train to downtown Seoul to grab some hot chocolate. He had written Marry Me at the bottom of my cup!
Seeing Junyoung’s reaction when they opened the French doors as he saw me for the first time, was an absolutely priceless moment during the ceremony. He’s not generally a very emotional person, so I wasn’t expecting much more than a big smile. Boy, was I wrong!
I also really loved our reception. The funniest memory was definitely when Junyoung and my brother-in-law danced to Gangnam Style on the dance floor! One of the sweeter parts of the evening though, was when I saw the Korean wedding cake topper, and the Wedding Ducks, that Junyoung’s mom had made for us. Our cake had 3 tiers to it; the small top tier was lemon, the middle was chocolate, and the bottom was vanilla. It was all frosted in a delicious buttercream frosting.
