This Thursday, we are so excited to share with you this charming summer Cornerstone Gardens wedding, which took place in wine country’s finest- Sonoma, California. Jennie and Herman’s big day incorporated beautiful mint green hues complimented with shades of blush pink and dazzling gold. The captivating wedding photos taken by the ever-talented Susan Yee of En Pointe Photography really shine a spotlight on this couples’ special love. The gorgeous greenery of the landscape only adds to the “Awe” of the day. Through the vineyards, among the grass and in the eyes of those who love them, Jennie and Herman said their dream “I, do’s.” It wasn’t all just magic and wonder though, as Jennie mentions, it took a lot of love and patience to plan and put together a wedding day that was true to the two of them.
In Jennie’s own words…
As a pair of designers, we had a lot of fun when it came to designing our wedding. We DIYed many little details, and our mint green, blush pink and soft gold wedding had a watercolor and mint ombre theme. Our Wedding Paper Divas “Air of Affection” stationery went along beautifully with all of the “Exquisite Artistry” paper elements which were displayed throughout the reception. The biggest project we took on was to create the giant marquee lights to hang up in the barn. The challenge was to make them out of very light material and about 40″ tall. We spent two days in Herman’s design studio and created “J&H” marquee letters with only two boxes of string lights, foam core, hot glue, cardstock and a lot of love and patience! They came together beautifully and were gorgeous along with the lanterns and string lights in our barn. Today the lights are sitting on top of our bookshelf in our home office to remind us daily of our special day. 🙂 If you want to see more #lovedetails: J and H say I do.
Congrats Jennie and Herman!
