Sweet and Simple Country Wedding in Tennessee

Today, we are elated to be sharing this adorable country wedding on a farm. Held in Tennessee, you can see the expansive countryside for miles and miles. Sunshine and puffy white clouds seemed to span into the distant horizon.

We love the rustic wedding touches these two created for their special day. Kelli and Matt had unique DIY reception decor, a custom bench “sign in” book, and a catchy hashtag sign for all of those great candid wedding pictures. The wedding was especially sentimental to Kelli, as her father officiated the wedding ceremony. From her elegant lace wedding dress to the rustic barn, we love how serene this wedding theme feels.

Rustic Golden Hour Farm Wedding on the East Coast

Today, we are so excited to be sharing this quaint wedding from the East Coast. Held at Harrington Farm in Princeton Massachusetts, this sunny venue is oh so romantic. Here, you get the best of both worlds! The garden wedding ceremony took place in the stunning backyard of this venue, while the indoor reception exuded a warm, rustic cabin-like quality for the guests to enjoy.

Meg & Jon both got dressed in their suites at Harrington, before their First Look on the lawn. We are especially smitten with the unique details they incorporated into their wedding theme. Meg is from NY, so they brought along some Red Sox and Yankees hats for the guys and girls to wear during some spontaneous pictures of the wedding party. It went perfectly with their blue and grey wedding colors.

The cocktail hour and reception were filled with DIY handmade details, like the cornhole boards, cake stand, and card box all made by Jonathan himself. The orange and green flowers in wooden boxes that were chosen as centerpieces which lent to the rustic feel. Their rustic wedding invitations helped tie the theme together, and let their wedding guests know what to expect on their big day!

Orange and Green Rustic Wedding Ideas

You’ll want sunglasses and a glass of Champagne for this bright and cheery orange and sage rustic wedding theme. Wooden signs, slated backdrops and burlap twine add a relaxed and rustic style to the bright pops of orange and lush greens. Make sure to add creamy neutrals for your bouquets, dresses and table decor to bring a softer, romantic feel to your big day. If you’re wanting something that’s warm, inviting, and perfect for a country chic wedding, considering using just orange and green wedding colors for your big day! Great for summer and spring, you can’t go wrong with this color combination.

What are we really loving? Let’s talk about that cake! Rightfully named for its unfrosted sides, this “Naked Cake” is especially popular for rustic weddings. So much texture, so many beautiful layers of cake and frosting—Add flowers to any type of cake and you’ll have a dessert display “dressed to the nines”. The orange florals really make this dessert a show stopper.

We love when a wedding day coordinates well with its beautiful wedding invitation. With so many color, trim and font options, you’ll have a unique invitation to inspire your wedding day, just like this scallop trimmed, watercolor design. The green and orange colors perfectly complement one another, and make a statement to guests about the type of wedding you two will be throwing.

Add your personal flair to show off both of your personalities. Cheers to your style!
