Enhance the elegance of a winter wedding with a touch of sparkle. Silver tones, sequins, and metallic accents will all lend to a winter wonderland feel.
DIY wedding favors are the perfect way for a bride to add a touch of her personality to a wedding reception. We love favors that coordinate with the theme of the wedding, whether rustic, modern, outdoors, or seasonal.
For this easy DIY wedding favor project, we chose to complement a trendy wedding theme – rustic elegance that is perfect for fall! With succulents popping up everywhere from bouquets to center pieces, the hardy plant makes for a fantastic wedding gift for your guests, especially when paired with a chic wedding gift tag.
Here’s what you’ll need:
It’s a simple DIY that your guests will love to take home. An added bonus? They’ll look gorgeous placed on the reception tables!
For the slightly traditional bride who can’t wait to host elegant dinner parties to utilize her beautiful fine china, today’s mood board will be especially inspiring. The most sophisticated shade of blue is definitely this iconic Wedgewood blue we have used in our theme. When paired with porcelain white, it’s perfectly classic!
Pale pink and gold are the perfect combination to create a romantic but regal wedding theme. Pink tones keep the feel soft and elegant, while touches of matte gold add understated glamour.
Cakes are great, but what are your options if you want to serve something different at your ceremony? We think it’s a fabulous idea to have your wedding desserts reflect your personal taste!

There’s nothing quite as timelessly elegant as a beautiful letterpress card. Here at Wedding Paper Divas, we love everything about them, from the way the ink sinks down into the grooves left by a big, antique printing press to the supple texture of the luxurious paper. I can’ t think of a better way to show your gratitude than with some of these beautiful letterpress thank you cards:
One of our stylish staffers recently attended this stunning wedding between Grace and Onwing at the Four Seasons Resort in Wailea, Maui on April 17, 2009. The intimate celebration included 40 guests who traveled to Hawaii for the event. Photographers Bill Stockwell and Scott Drexler of Photos on Maui took these beautiful photos.
We love the bursts of vibrant red and the luxurious elegance found in every detail! They even used our wedding menus to complete their sophisticated look.
Today’s Real Wedding was submitted by photographer Critsey Rowe. The simple and elegant wedding of Amy, a neonatal ICU nurse, to Aaron, a North Carolina highway patrol officer, took place at the Little Church on the Lane in North Carolina. The event planner was Ivy Robinson (“Whose Wedding is it Anyway?”).
What is Amy & Aaron’s advice to engaged couples? “Don’t worry about every single detail, because the day goes by so fast that you are not going to be focused on the details but on your new spouse.”
