Making a Grand Entrance

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Wedding transportation is one of those little details that you can turn into a great opportunity to showcase your style as a couple. Limousines are classic, of course, and horse-drawn carriages are the ultimate in romance. But what about making your grand entrance (or exit!) via motorcycle, double-decker bus or hot air balloon?

We’ve also heard of people making their grand entrance with these creative modes of wedding transportation:

  • Classic cars
  • Helicopters
  • Jet skis
  • Horses
  • Tandem bicycles
  • Party buses
  • Elephants (yes, elephants!)

Whatever mode of transportation you choose, make sure it reflects your interests as a couple. Sure, elephants would be an incredibly creative way to arrive at the ceremony, but does an elephant really have anything to do with you and your soon-to-be spouse? Unless the groom’s a zookeeper, stick to something a little more your style and you can still have a wildly memorable entrance!
