We adore this classic yet ethereal engagement shoot in San Francisco, captured by Em the Gem and styled by A & B Creative. Since the couple is having a city hall wedding this winter, they also used the shoot as an opportunity to capture their save the dates and invitations as well. This week’s Real Engagement will have you wanting to take your engagement photos all over again! Chelsi and Zac absolutely nailed the “we’re the fun couple” look, especially since they ended their shoot at the drive in (too cute!). Photographer Chriselda captured the miles and miles of pure beauty at White Sands Monument in New Mexico, along with a gorgeous slice of nature in Lincoln National Forest.

When we came across this incredible tree-house engagement photo session, shot by the ever so talented Hannah Suh, we immediately knew that we had to share it’s beauty! Where are you shooting your engagement photos?
Today’s Real Engagement features, one of our very own Wedding Paper Divas employees, Lauren and her fiancé Scott’s photo shoot at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The couple met during NFL League meetings in 2012 and share a passion for sports, traveling, pretending to be foodies and wine tasting. Lauren and Scott will be getting married on their three year anniversary at a winery in the Bay Area, where they now reside.
Are you a Wedding Paper Divas bride? If you’d like to submit your wedding for consideration, please email a brief description of your celebration and a link to your wedding photos to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Today’s Real Engagement features Jade and Kyoung’s shoot at Shoreline Park in Mountain View, California. The pair only had a one month window to get to know each other while working at the mall, before Jade departed for an extended trip to China and before Kyoung started law school. The pair enjoy spending their time cooking, wine tasting, and cheering for their favorite professional baseball and basketball teams. Here are some of the lovely photos, courtesy of rachelle derouin photography.
When creating beautiful and memorable engagement pictures, the key is capturing the couple’s uniqueness in the photo. We love seeing engagement photos that shed light onto the couple’s personalities and life stories. Whether it be capturing the couple’s shared hobbies or interests, a perfectly captured candid moment that highlights their personalities, or even getting a glimpse of where they first met. Having that personal story behind the photo lends to an incredibly creative and special engagement photo shoot which you and your loved ones will treasure forever.
We are extremely excited to share a couple beautiful and incredibly memorable engagement photos that the talented Photographer Hannah Colclazier captured so perfectly.
1) This adorable couple opted for a cooking inspired engagement shoot to highlight their shared love for cooking. We love these photos paired with a multi-photo save the date postcard!
2) This photo shoot would be absolutely perfect for the couple who met abroad, loves to travel or is planning a destination wedding. We adore how this theme pairs brilliantly with any of these travel inspired save the date cards as well.
3) This gorgeous photo idea is perfect for the couple who wants to honor their own military service, honor loved ones serving, or even as a tribute to the troops. Truly stunning!
4) Last but certainly not least, don’t be afraid to have fun and be adventurous on your photo shoot! There is nothing more amazing than seeing photos that capture the essence of both couple’s personalities and interactions. This couple decided that since it was getting rather hot in D.C. during the shoot, they opted to for an impromptu run through the park sprinklers, all of which was captured brilliantly by Hannah.
