Pretty Korean Wedding at a Historic Venue

Today, we are loving this elegant traditional wedding! Hosted at a chic venue that has been around since the late 1800s, the refined decor is simply stunning. We love all of the special touches within this Korean Wedding theme. From the vibrant red florals to the sleek gold accents, the entire day was filled with so much joy.

From Brittany:

We first met when we were both living in Seoul, in the neighborhood Junyoung grew up in. We went out for the first time a couple of days before my birthday! I had mentioned it in a passing several days beforehand, and he ending up bringing a birthday present to our date. I knew he was special right then and there!

We continued to date, until Junyoung proposed before I left to go back home to the States. He had actually planned to visit me about 4 months down the road, but I told him I’d need a ring on my finger before that happened. I didn’t think he’d be able to surprise me, but the proposal did actually catch me off guard; it happened on the day we took the train to downtown Seoul to grab some hot chocolate. He had written Marry Me at the bottom of my cup!

Seeing Junyoung’s reaction when they opened the French doors as he saw me for the first time, was an absolutely priceless moment during the ceremony. He’s not generally a very emotional person, so I wasn’t expecting much more than a big smile. Boy, was I wrong!

I also really loved our reception. The funniest memory was definitely when Junyoung and my brother-in-law danced to Gangnam Style on the dance floor! One of the sweeter parts of the evening though, was when I saw the Korean wedding cake topper, and the Wedding Ducks, that Junyoung’s mom had made for us. Our cake had 3 tiers to it; the small top tier was lemon, the middle was chocolate, and the bottom was vanilla. It was all frosted in a delicious buttercream frosting.

Chic Black Tie Wedding in NYC

Today, we are so delighted to be sharing this spectacular black tie wedding with you all!

Alice and Peter held their big day in the ever-glamorous New York City. Their chic wedding had an all white wedding theme, paired with soft neutral colors. Have we mentioned yet that we think metallic tones are neutral?

From amazing rooftop pictures, pale champagne bridesmaids dresses, an elegant church ceremony, and a twinkly reception venue, we have to refrain from staring at all of its splendor. Their timeless wedding invitations help tie everything together!

Alice was lucky enough to wear two different gowns on her wedding day. The first wedding dress is strapless and filled with lots of glamorous tool; her second wedding dress has an amazing illusion neckline, with dainty floral accents scattered about. This classic, formal affair is truly a wedding that wowed its guests.
