An Industrial Modern Wedding in a City Winery

We hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend! Today, we are sharing a stunning wedding with some epic city flare. Katie and Brock wanted a non-traditional wedding, and made sure to incorporate some unique elements within their big day. Their fun modern wedding in Portland included a glittery champagne wedding dress, Corn Dog toasts, and a standing room ceremony.

From the mismatched bridesmaids dresses to simple reception centerpieces, we love how effortless this stylish wedding feels. The mix of vibrant reds, pinks, and burgundy flowers really tie everything together.

Dreams Come True Spring Boho Wedding

Today, we have fallen in love with this sweet fairytale inspiration. From youthful spring wedding colors to angelic butterflies, there is so much to swoon over within this styled shoot! If you enjoy vintage decor, we know you’ll enjoy this fun boho wedding.

The premium, floral laser cut wedding invitations inspired this fabulous team of wedding vendors. The relaxed, garden wedding venue exudes some bohemian flare without overpowering the reception decor. The funky mason jar glasses, gold silverware, and varying array of plants scattered across the tablescape tie in the theme so well!

The 3-D Our Ever After sign may be our favorite piece of all. It really kicks the wedding theme up a notch, and helps the cohesion come full circle. It’s details like these that give us butterflies.

Tip: If you and your partner aren’t needing lengthy transpiration, consider a more retro way to travel from the wedding reception to your overnight hotel! This vintage Vespa could not be any more adorable. Add this option to your list of potential wedding exit ideas.

Inspiration Board: Urban Weddings

Growing up in a very suburban area of Detroit, surrounded by lakes, trees and nature, a visit to the city always evoked a sense of awe.  I remember the first time I witnessed a wedding in a park in downtown Chicago, surrounded by skyscrapers and honking taxi cabs, and I thought to myself, “this is beautiful.”  Beautiful doesn’t have to be a wedding in the country, or on the beach, or at a country club.  The city in and of itself is beautiful and today’s inspiration board touches the part of me that absolutely adores the sharp contrasts between a soft, white wedding and the bright, loud lights of the city.
