Love her or not, Kim Kardashian’s wedding was (and still is) all the buzz on the wedding circuit. 450 guests. A 10-tier cake (allegedly costing $20,000). The Vera Wang Gown… or should we say gowns. A limited-edition perfume to celebrate her wedding. No doubt about it, this was a Hollywood wedding of epic proportions.
What do you think? More power to her—every girl deserves the royal treatment on her wedding day! Or was this wedding way over the top? Rant or rave!
As you can probably imagine, the Wedding Paper Divas headquarters has been buzzing with royal wedding talk lately. The invitations. The dress. The prince! So we want to hear from our fans—did you tune in to watch Kate Middleton say “I do” to Prince William? Were you overtaken with royal wedding fever? Rant or rave!
Watching our favorite celebrities walk the red carpet this past weekend provided endless makeup, hair, jewelry and style inspiration—much of which could easily translate into stunning wedding day style. From the sparkly embellishments and picture-perfect makeup to utterly flattering cuts, these are some of our favorite looks from the 2011 Oscars. Which one inspires you?
Rumor has it that couture hat designer Philip Treacy will be designing hats for the wedding party at the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Treacy has outfitted starlets like Sarah Jessica Parker in the past, and Middleton herself is said to be a big fan of his work.
Here are a few samples of his artistic hat designs. Do you think wedding hats will be a big hit after the royal nuptials? After the wave of brides who followed in the footsteps of Princess Di in the early 1908s, we don’t think a Princess Kate craze will be too far behind…
We’re happy to bring you this weekly tip from celebrity wedding planner and Wedding Paper Divas stationery designer, Diann Valentine. To shop for her designs, check out our Diann Valentine collection.
For as long as I have been designing weddings, pink has by far been the most requested color of choice for ladies in waiting. I often wonder if it is our mothers’ faults for showering us in pink frills from the moment we are born or if it is something in our DNA that draws us to this soft yummy cotton candy color? As much as advocate for all of the colors in the rainbow, there is no denying that in my battles over pink, it has always prevailed. So in honor of the ultimate Barbie Doll and “Basketball Wives” co-star Jennifer Williams, I am sharing for the first time a full glimpse into her celebration at The One and Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island in the Bahamas and how she challenged us all to rise to the occasion and give her exactly what the wanted…only Valentine Style!

As mentioned last week, I get a tremendous amount of credit for the magic that “we” create but it takes a small army to turn a regular Saturday night into a magical memory, so please allow me to thank some of the DRV team that helped turn this one into reality: Scott Corridan, Julie Dunn, Erin Earls, Robert Hansen, Brent Jongeward , Dinah Knowles, Mike Shauger, Seth Santoro, Mickie Valentine, Riann Valentine and a host of many more hard working busy bees!
So do share, what is the project color that you would like to remix?
Bella Pictures recently partnered with famed celebrity wedding photojournalist Denis Reggie to capture the wedding of Today Show wedding couple, Melissa McMillan and Jeremy Gilbert on September 30, 2010.
Denis Reggie is the most celebrated wedding photographer of our time. Anointed “the best in the business” by Oprah Winfrey and dubbed “the great wedding photographer of our day” by Town and Country magazine, Denis Reggie may be best known for capturing the single most viewed and most iconic wedding image of our lifetime: John F. Kennedy Jr. kissing the hand of his bride, Carolyn Bessette.
Although he enjoys a wide celebrity following, Denis’ vision is to offer all brides the same opportunity to access his famed photojournalistic approach, and to provide super luxurious wedding albums and videos that document the defining moments unique to each wedding couple’s special day.
“All brides deserve to be a celebrity on their wedding day. The bride is the focal point of the wedding, and my approach is to document the special moments as they naturally unfold,” said Reggie. “Bella Pictures is already known for their photojournalism and their great service and style, so the partnership was a perfect fit for this exclusive experience,” he added.
Now brides can choose the Denis Reggie Experience exclusively at Bella Pictures. The Denis Reggie Experience is for couples seeking the Denis Reggie photojournalistic imprint and for those who want wedding keepsakes that are produced at the highest level of quality and design. They are personally overseen by Denis Reggie and reflect his own unique and exacting standards of a clean, understated and elegant storytelling perspective.
Bella Pictures is the most recognized name in premium wedding photography and video, and we’re proud to announce the launch of our brand new website.

Everyone has been buzzing about Ivanka Trump’s glamorous wedding gown, which features lacy sleeves inspired by Grace Kelly’s regal wedding dress.
This gorgeous twist on classic wedding dress style has us wondering if sheer or lacy sleeves are the next chic look for wedding gowns. What do you think? Which wedding gown sleeve do you prefer—long and luxurious, or short and sweet?
Giselle Bundchen did it. Salma Hayek did it. But would you do it?
It seems like double weddings are all the rage these days, and not the double weddings where two best friends tie the knot in tandem. These brides have two ceremonies, complete with two receptions.
Most of the time, the first wedding is a destination celebration on the beaches of Hawaii or in the streets of Paris, while the second ceremony takes place closer to home (unless you are Salma Hayek, who wed in both Paris and Venice—lucky girl!). By splitting time between two locations, the couple can better ensure that family and friends will be able to attend one of the two ceremonies.
Do you think this is a viable solution for non-celebrity couples? Would you host two weddings in two different locations? What would your dream destinations be? Rant or rave!
