We’ve all heard this rule before: if you’re attending a wedding, never-ever wear white because white is reserved for the bride and the bride alone. However, we recently came across some beautiful wedding photos of bridal parties adorned in white. So, we wondered–is today’s bride willing throw this tradition out the window or do most of us still want to stand out as the only one in pure white?
You tell us! Do white bridesmaid dresses make you want to rant or rave?

Those are lovely dresses! They all are really unique designs.
Beautiful! It’s the bride’s choice of what she’d like her bridal party in, even white! I wore ivory and my bridesmaids wore champagne gowns. Some told me that I wouldn’t stand out and that I should have my ‘maids in contrasting color, but that wasn’t my vision or what I wanted. But in my eyes it was perfect and exactly what I wanted. However, I don’t believe it’s appropriate for guests of a wedding to wear white or ivory!
I love it – if it’s in the right setting. For a breezy spring/summer wedding like this one it works wonderfully!
This is beautiful! All very complimentary.
very pretty dresses-I’d like them even more in color
I am a only white for the bride kinda gal
I wouldn’t trust my bridesmaids to wear white – I can imagine all the stains now!
I love love love the look of all white… which is why i’m doing this as well
All of these dresses are from Bari Jay, which I ended up going with, but just the third one from the left in bottom of picture, and apple green sash… can’t wait!
