I have a confession to make… I don’t like my wedding ring! I mean it’s okay, but I don’t love it by any means.
Ok, now that I have admitted it to the world let me explain–my solitary, princess cut diamond engagement ring was exactly what I wanted. However, the prongs on the ring made it impossible to fit with any wedding band I tried on.
So, I had my ring custom made. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication with the jeweler, and the ring that was made was not what I wanted AT ALL. And, because the ring was “custom,” I was stuck with it.
Now, three and half years later, I am waiting for the day when I can wear a ring that I love.

This dilemma happened to my parents, and so for their 25th wedding anniversary my dad got my mom her dream ring. Since they were older, he could afford everything she wanted! Plus, it was incredibly romantic to see her finally getting what she hoped for. Maybe something similar will happen to you!
