Invite the President to Your Wedding!

In case you didn’t hear all of the buzz about this project right around Inauguration Day, we want to remind all of you stylish wedding planners to save a spot on your guest list for President Obama and his First Lady.

If you send the Obamas a wedding invitation at the address listed below, they will send you back a personal note of congratulations! The White House recommends that you send the invitation at least six weeks in advance of the ceremony to make sure you get a response by your wedding day.

Send your invitations to:

The Honorable Barack and Mrs. Obama
The White House
Greetings Office, Room 39
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20500

Who knows? Maybe they’ll even show up…

You can do this with any president in office.. I did when I got married a year ago and got the same thing.

A colleague of mine got a note from the Bushes back in 2006. It’s White House etiquette, but still awesome.
