Today we have Wedding Paper Divas style & trend expert, Amber Harrison on our wedding blog chatting with Harmony Walton, the founder of The Bridal Bar giving you easy tips and guidelines for how to choose the best wedding vendors.

Hey, it’s Amber!

Today on Small Talk Big Day we’re going to be talking with the founder of Bridal Bar, Harmony Walton about a very important step in your planning process-selecting your wedding vendors.

Amber: When you’re first starting to plan your wedding, finding vendors to even talk to about your vision can be overwhelming, where do you start?

Harmony: You know I think the best place to start is with your venue. Ask for their preferred vendor list because chances are, those vendors are going to be in a similar style and budget range that you are working with.

Amber: So let’s say I have two vendors, two florists, that I am totally in love with and they both are comparable in pricing. How do I choose between the two?

Harmony: I think personality is huge. You want to find someone that you are comfortable with and that you want to hang out with on your wedding day. You want to know that they understand your needs and wishes for your wedding.

Amber: So what are your must asked questions when considering wedding vendors?

Harmony: Well there are millions, but I like to start with the three P’s: paperwork, pricing and policies. You want to read the fine print.

Those were some really practical and helpful tips to get you hooked up with the best wedding vendors to assist you in planning your perfect day.
