Wrapping gifts is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season, but if you just stick to red and green things can get a little repetitive. If you’re looking for a new way to add a little sparkle to your holiday gifts, give these fun and easy ideas a whirl. Our resident gift wrapping experts have put their heads together to come up with these gorgeous examples, and the best part is that it all starts with simple white wrapping paper!
Supplies
- White wrapping paper (or paper in another neutral shade)
- Satin ribbon in a coordinating hue
- Buttons, bells, faux flowers and pinecones—whatever catches your eye!
- Holiday gift tags from our parent site, Tiny Prints (we used our Vibrant Anemones design)
Step One: Wrap the Present
The best advice our expert gift wrapper has is to make sure to cut the wrapping paper down to the correct size to reduce bulges, and to make sure your folds are crisp and neat.
Step Two: Add Your Favorite Extras
My personal favorites are these little gold buttons, but we also played with bells, poinsettias, pine cones and decorative buttons as well. Which look do you like best?
