Ivanka Trump Gets Married

Monday, October 26th, 2009

Following her recent nuptials, everyone seems to be searching for the official wedding photos from Ivanka Trump’s wedding to Jared Kushner.  The couple was married this past weekend at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey in front of 500 of their closest friends, family and colleagues.

You can view a few photos on PopSugar of the entire affair, and below is our favorite shot.  I just love her simple and elegant Vera Wang gown!

Take the Time to Take Note and Give Thanks

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Let’s face it, it’s no secret that wedding planning can be a stressful.  In fact, it’s easy to get focused on all the little details and hiccups in regards to your big day.  That’s why we love this challenge that our parent company, Tiny Prints, has put together in honor of  World Gratitude Day.

Last month, Tiny Prints put together a challenge in which they asked a small group of people to look at the brighter side of life for 21-days. The results of the challenge were moving and humbling.  From tornadoes to car accidents, fires and family drama, The Gratitude Challenge saw our its first participants through meaningful, life-changing events, and we made a short video about how gratitude can revitalize your perspective. You can watch it below:

We hope this video inspires you as a much as it does us! We encourage you to take a break from the daily grind and to stop to take note and give thanks for all the little blessings in your life. Visit the Gratitude Challenge to join the movement.

Road to the Altar

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

When I was getting married, I read tons of books about frazzled brides, diva mother-in-laws, and crazy bridesmaids.  I figured since all I could think about was my wedding, then why not read about characters I can relate to the most (except the diva mother-in-law). That’s why I love the idea of the new webisode series, Road to the Altar.

Road to the Altar is one couple’s journey through weddingland. As Simon pops the question to Rochelle, they begin navigating the tumultuous wedding racket.  All the while an incompetent reality crew follows them mock-u-ality style. Events such as Taffeta napkin selecting and mini-weiner tasting pave a turbulent road to the altar.

For any couple planning their wedding, these short mini-episodes are a fun way to gain a little perspective on the stress process of planning a wedding.

Here’s a clip:
