When I was planning for the big day, one of the things that I forgot/put of to the last minute was make up! With ideas of dresses and menus and seating charts swirling around my head, make up just wasn’t a key factor in my planning.

Luckily, that turned around when my friend suggested that I hire a make up artist.  At first I was really hesitant to spend any more of my budget on something I thought I could do myself, but it actually turned out to be a great decision.

Just in case your not convinced, I thought I’d share the before and after photos from my wedding make up trial (gasp, please by kind).

As embarrassing as the before photo is for me to share, the after photo showed me that I could not do as good a job without professional help.
