Wedding Paper Divas is bursting with staff grooms and brides-to-be who are currently planning their weddings. We’re happy to share their stories with you as a part of this fun feature!

Well, it is about three weeks before the big day. I can’t believe how quickly time flew by since I got engaged a year ago! Since I still have a couple more important tasks to complete, I have made a wedding planning checklist of my last minute details that I am working on.

To-Do Before Wedding:

-Complete the final fitting for my wedding dress

-Order thank you cards and matching address labels. I’m loving these to go with my garden wedding theme:

-I still need to meet with my event planner tomorrow to finalize which linens, plates, and flowers I will use. I am completely inspired by these tablescapes below and am doing a combination of the two, with shades of pink, white and green flowers, off-white linens, bistro lights and hanging lanterns:

-Finalize ceremony vows

-Order wedding programs and wedding place cards (like these):

-Pick up bridesmaids gifts

- Make a schedule for the wedding weekend which includes a contact list of wedding vendors

- Attend the pre-wedding hair and makeup consultation (very excited for this one!)

-Meet with DJ for final walk-through at the venue

-Get marriage license (kind of a big one)

After I complete this list, then I will be able to breathe a bit easier! I can’t wait to unveil how everything turns out for my big day. Cheers!

Meet Alison

Alison met David over six years ago while attending the University of Oregon. Alison and David are grateful for everything that they have gone through together while dating, since it has made them stronger and molded them into the couple that they are today.

David proposed to Alison at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and they are excited to get married August 25, 2012 in Atherton, CA.
