I sort of feel like I am up to my ears in details. All those little last details that you can’t really start on until a few months before the wedding. Decorations, timelines, flowers, songs, jewelry, makeup, vows (ok, will this list ever end?). I still have 4 months but I am starting to feel the crunch. Nonetheless, I have lists galore, checklists and timelines to keep me on track. Only problem? Finding the time. Anyway, I am sure it will all come together slowly but surely.
In happier news, we got our honeymoon registry up and running. The most exciting part? We just got a mystery gift that was beyond generous. I am completely intrigued as to who sent it. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
While on the topic of our honeymoon, did you hear about the Italian cruiseship that crashed? Well, that is the exact ship we are supposed to go on. It is such a horrible and tragic incident—we feel horrible for all the people involved. But as far as what are we going to do? Your guess is as good as ours. After the crash of the economy in Greece (which changed our first honeymoon itinerary), I figure this too will work itself out.
I’m ready to see what ups and downs come our way in the next couple months. Definitely looking forward to my bridal shower next month and the bachelorette party after that. I’ll be back to share all the details with you…
Meet Jessica
Jessica and Dan met nearly 7 years ago on Myspace. (Remember Myspace?) It took weeks of contemplation until they decided to finally meet… and I guess you could say the rest was history. After discovering their mutual shoe addiction, surviving countless Thanksgiving family meals together and three apartment/house moves later—they are officially ready to tie the knot.
Jessica and Dan are getting married May 27, 2012 at Malibou Lake Mountain Club in Los Angeles.
