Since the Fourth of July falls on a Saturday this year, it’s a popular day for weddings. Are you attending any Fourth of July weddings? Would you incorporate red, white and blue accents into your ceremony as a nod to the national holiday?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I think it sounds really fun! It’s already a celebratory weekend so why not add a wedding to the mix??? What better reason to get everyone together?!?!? As long as the bride isn’t wearing a dress that ressembles the American flag, I am ALL for it! What a wonderful summer wedding

I love the idea of a 4th of July wedding, I think there are so many unique things that you can incorporate in your wedding to make it stand out , make it special. It can be the best 4th of July celebration any of your guests have ever experienced. Needless to say they will always remember your anniversary.

If you chose to have it on the 4th, I say go for the Red, White and Blue. However, I’m not a fan of weddings on holidays. If you are in the same town as the wedding, great you just mix your normal holiday celebration with he wedding. But if you come from out of town you have to give up all of your fun holiday plans to go to the wedding. I think that would stop some people from coming to the wedding.

Someone I know is getting married on the 4th. Her invites had firework clipart on them! She should have used Wedding Paper Divas!

Thank you for encouraging weddings. In today’s world it is not uncommon for people to be opposed of marriage. I know how important families and marriage are. If you ever need some ideas for beautiful and modest gowns visit http://www.kathleensbridal.com. I love the dresses there. Thanks again for your blog.

The fact that some people won’t come on this holiday was a big reason we DID pick this date. We have a ton of people we have to invite, but we didn’t want a huge wedding. Be nice to know that all the people that come really wanted to be there.
