Idea Board: Chandeliers

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

Something that I have been seeing a lot of lately is Chandeliers and I have been wondering how to work that theme into an event. Then, Brandi discussed the topic of idea boards and I was inspired! So, in honor of Brandi’s great idea I have created a chandelier idea board to inspire the perfect wedding event. I think chandeliers are chic and they are the epitome of style and grace.

Meet the Bridesmaids

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

By guest blogger Geeta Sachdeva

Earlier this week, the DVD for ‘27 dresses was released. I decided to finally watch it having missed the 2008 flick on the big screen. While I thought it was quite entertaining, I also realized what a privilege it is to have a bridesmaid who is the epitome of selflessness and always puts your needs before her own! If this is anything like your bridesmaids, take the opportunity to thank them with a party. Whether it’s a traditional luncheon, a night on the town or a weekend stay at a resort, throwing them a party will give you time to relax and unwind and also allow your attendants to meet and get to know each other (especially any out-of-towners) before the big day!

In addition, send them a personal note with our monogrammed thank you card. They are the perfect way to say thanks!

Idea Board II: Orange

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Orange is fiery and bold. A burst of citrus creates a lively mood for a larger-than-life couple who really wants to stand out at their wedding. Choose a subdued orange hue and mix it with brown in autumn or brighten up a summer wedding with bright juicy tones. Here’s another inspirational board for you brides-to-be who are head over heels in love with orange. How about mixing two popular and unlikely tones, orange and green for something unique. Inspired by the bold complementary colors of a fresh green and bright orange centerpiece I adored in Napa’s famous Copia restaurant, I pulled various similar tones to complete this distinctly modern look.
